Hello! Welcome to Connie’s Corner.  My name is Constance Stegall.  I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida and NY.  I am the owner of Center for Life Transitions, PA, a counseling center located in  Cape Coral, FL. My areas of concentration are in Marriage and Family and Mental Health Counseling and Financial Coaching.  I am also a trained EMDR Therapist.

I was the former President of SWF chapter for Marriage and Family Therapist, and formerly Family and Court Mediator in the state of Florida, as well as an approved Continuing Educational instructor in the state of Florida. (Chapter: 491).  I worked as a counselor with Major Medical Center in Miami and worked for an agency focusing on inner city children.  After my move from the east coast of Florida to the west coast, I worked as a grief counselor with Hope Hospice of Southwest Florida and Pathways of Hope Counseling Center. I also facilitated numerous educational classes, “Working with People with Disabilities,” “Coping with Long-Term Illness and Dementia,” and “Grief and Loss,” just to name a few.

I was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for my outstanding counseling service both in the community and in the schools.  After 9/11, I appeared on WinkTV to discuss grief and loss.  During the aftermath of 9/11, I facilitated group meetings for members of the community. I led “Coping with Terrorism”, an educational seminar presentation for other professionals.  At Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, Fl, I instituted the program “A Support Network for Military Families” and then served as the group leader/facilitator.

Today, I provide support to individuals, families, and members in the community on a wide range of topics and issues within my private counseling practice.
